We promote life long learning at Lobley Hill Primary School. We believe that everyone can experience success. We continuously strive to ensure the school environment is as good as it can be for our children and seek to improve the curriculum where needed. As a result of our outstanding work in promoting healthy lifestyles, we have been awarded the “National Healthy Schools Award”. We have also achieved the prestigious ‘International School Award’. Our ‘Parents as Partners’ work in school is highly successful.
We are also the lead school in the GATESHEAD 3-7 SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training). This means that we are accredited as a provider of teacher training and have set up our own teacher training course for graduate trainee teachers. The SCITT has now been established for many years and has been of great benefit to the school.
I am committed to making sure our school continues to develop and make a positive impact on the lives of families and children within the community.
